Fonar Sympulse 0.3 tesla Cross trained into MRI with a current Medical Technology license. I am licensed in 5 areas in the laboratory,including hematology,chemistry,serology,immunohematology (blood bank) and microbiology. With my previous medical background I was able to train and study for MRI while working in MR. It took me about 1 year to complete the number and variety of scans required by ARMRIT and to sit for the exam. Since obtaining my license,I have never looked back. MR is a wonderful field to work in and ARMRIT has been an ideal licensing agency. I am proud to be a member of ARMRIT and have encouraged many others who are interested in MR to go through ARMRIT as thier license provider. I will be moving to the Myrtle Beach area within the next 6 months and will be looking for MR work in that area. I am open to all possible work situations,such as travel,hospital or diagnostic centers. I am also licensed as a Medical Technologist and have 13 years experience in the field,including setting up a lab for a diagnostic center from the ground up and passing Florida State inspections for moderate complexity testing.
