National Registry Practice Exam

Introduction:

These practice exams do not purport to be representative of any of the current national MRI registry examinations such as the exams offered by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). These practice exams do serve as practice vehicles which will challenge a registry applicant's ability to accurately answer random questions on MRI physics and instrumentation in a timely fashion.

Format:

Each practice exam consists of thirty (30) multiple choice questions that are randomly selected. The answers to all questions are based on the 'one right and/or best answer' principle. There are no multiple-multiple choice questions with answers such as A and B, or C and D. Even if it appears that there is more than one right answer, you must choose the 'best' 'right' answer. There is a recommended time limit of one (1) minute per question for a total of thirty (30) minutes or one (1) hour. It is recommended that you skip questions that are too difficult or you are not sure of and come back to them later, assuming that you still have time remaining. A score will be generated and you will be able to print out your exam to see which questions were answered incorrectly to assist you in your MRI studies.

The fee is $35.00 USD for each practice test. This fee is non-refundable and is good for one (1) practice exam. This fee does not include retakes. If, for whatever reason, it appears that a retake may be in order, please contact with the full particulars of the event in question so that appropriate action may be determined.
